How we cut posting time in half

We felt busy but slow. So we timed a week of posting and found the work wasn't the writing, it was everything around it. Cutting three steps gave us half our afternoons back.
Where the time actually went
Reformatting the same post for four platforms, hunting for the right image twice, and copy-pasting between tabs accounted for more than half the total time. The writing itself was the small part.
The three steps we cut
- Manual reformatting: draft once, tailor per channel in place.
- Tab-hopping: one composer, every channel at once.
- Guessing at timing: a schedule set once, reused each week.
None of it was glamorous. Removing friction rarely is. But an afternoon saved every week adds up to a month a year.
